Acle began brightly as Wiley played in Tooley but his cross was well gathered by the home keeper. McKenzie then shot across the face of goal but two bad challenges were not carded by referee Venables as two Acle players were taken out.
Man of the match was hat-trick boy French, for the newly promoted outfit, and he almost opened the scoring shooting just over the bar .
Mundford were bossing the game and it was no surprise to see them get in front after 20 minutes, before that man French put the game to bed in a 15 minute spell scoring three times to put the Breckland club way out in front.
The Acle defence was just not able to cope and it was Fancett who helped his team go nap as the home side created an almost unassailable lead.
The second half saw Acle restore some pride as the dangerous Warminger saw his penalty saved, before crashing the ball against the bar and then cooly finishing in the bottom corner to get the A’s on the scoreboard.
Manager Challen must be wanting to strengthen the defence on this showing, and see all of his team compete to win the ball as some players are hardly putting their body on the line in the cause, as United will look for a response for the visit of Harleston Town.
